healthy weight
My professor told me: A healthy weight is the key to cancer prevention. Finding out the recommended weight range for your height is not difficult, use this formula:
the weight should be in kg and the weight should be in meter, for example, my height is 1.6m, my weight is 50kg, then my BMI=50/1.6*1.6=19.53.
If your BMI is less than 18.5, you are under the recommended weight range. Talk to your doctor to find out if your weight is a symptom of a medical problem. Your doctor can also refer you to a nutrition expert who can help you learn about healthy eating.
If your BMI is between 19 and 24.9, you are in a healthy weight range for your height. But your may still get cancer if you are not getting regular physical activity and eating healthy foods.
If your BMI is 25 to 29.9, you are overweight. This may or may not be unhealthy, depending on some other things, like your waist size and other health problems you may have.
If your BMI is 30 or higher, be careful, you’re in the obese category. You may need to lose weight and change your eating and activity habits to get healthy and stay healthy.
There is conclusive evidence shows that: If your weight is not healthy, your risk for colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer and other cancers is higher.
