1. Domain name suffix

There are many domain name suffix optional, apart from the mainstream. Com. Net. Org, etc., there are many other suffix available, such as .Info .Name .Cc .Us .Ws .Cn, etc., it is generally acknowledged that .com .net .org is the best choice, but till nowadays, most good domains with these suffix have been registered, in such a case, a .info .name .cn. domain is also a good choice.

But someone told me .org domains perform well in SERP (Search Engine Rank Position), .org domain is good for SEO, because google may give higher trust rank to a site with .org domain, this point of view is unofficial, for your information only.

2. The length of the domain name
The length of the domain name may be the shorter the better, but you can not find an unregistered domain name shorter than 3 characters now, there are still some domain names with 4 characters available, but no clear meaning, unless you can use it to build your brand or give it a relevant explanation.

3. What’s a good domain?
A keyword rich domain is the best, It will be perfect if you can find an unregitered domain with the keywords you are targeting and it’s not too long, such as money.com, but it’s nearly impossible, maybe you can buy one from the domain owner, but the price may be a sky-high price.

A keyowrd rich but a little long domain is also a good and affordable choice, such as myblog.com, myownblog.com, but such domain names may also remain little, in such a case, domain name with numbers can also be a good choice, but it should be meaningful, such as wait4u.com, if you plan to choose a numbers-only domain, the numbers should be no more than five and easy to remember, otherwise visitors can hardly come back to your site directly by typing your site URL in the URL bar of their browser … …

If you are going to build a Chinese blog or site, the domain should be the Pinyin of your site name, preferably full-spelling and not too long, such as aixin.net;

Separator is widely used in long domain names, it is used to separate the keywords, for example, make-money-online.com, if it’s not too long, not bad, but if it’s too long, such as look-4-buy-cheap-discount-viagra-online-pharmacy.com, this domain seems to be very fearsome, in fact, this is not a domain name for the visitors to remember, but for search engines, it contains many keywords, it may be some helpful to SEO (Search engine optimization) and SERP (Search engine rank position), but it’s inadvisable to hurt the user experience just for SEO, try your best to find a keyword rich domain name, but it should not be too long to remember.
