An objective wealthy affiliate review

Some friends ask me how do I think Wealthy Affiliate, is it legit or just a scam? Honestly to say, I’m not a member of Wealthy Affiliate, nor I’m one of their affiliates, so in this article, I will never leave any affiliate links, I will stay uncommitted and report the facts.
Is Wealthy Affiliate a scam?
Accordding to the facts I found out, I think it is likely legit. But I’m not sure whether it is worth participating. Why? Go on reading.
1. Most scam programs don’t have affiliate support contact or just have some cheap contact method like email, Wealthy Affiliate has its affiliate support contact, not only email, but also landline.
When an affiliate program includes a toll-free telephone number, it’s a good sign that things are on the up and up. However, the lack of a phone number does not necessarily mean the program needs to be avoided. The Internet lends itself to email contact, and most websites structure their contact support system accordingly. If the website for an online income opportunity does not include an email or a contact form, though, you are probably looking at an affiliate program scam. Once you locate the email or contact from, it’s a good idea to send a message with a simple question to see how long it takes the company to respond. If you don’t receive a response addressing your question within a few days, tread lightly. The company might not be intentionally trying to scam you, but if they can’t quickly respond to emails, they are doing something wrong.
2. Most scam programs only have a simple and ugly website, wealth affiliate’s website is beautiful and abundant in content. Their forum allows members to post their topics, you can view those topic yourself.
Legitimate online income opportunity will have a detailed web site, providing information and showing some time and energy has gone into planning. A simple website is not difficult to create, but leaves a slightly larger trail leading back to the creator than that left by a mass emailing. Again, while the presence of a web site is not a guarantee that a program is trustworthy, the absence of a web site should definitely be viewed with a healthy dose of skepticism.
3. Most scams only last about 1 year or so. The Wealthy Affiliate program they developed and are continuing to develop, is over 4 years old (this being 2009).
Check it here http://www.myip.net/wealthyaffiliate.com , do you see? The domain wealthyaffiliate.com was registered in Sep.2005, nearly 4 years old, actually, most scam programs have a brand new domain and their domains are to expired next year, here I have a question, wealthyaffiliate.com will be expired next year, why wealthy affiliate hasn’t continue to pay dues yet? Will they close their website, end their service next year? If so, don’t join it now.
4. If a program is a scam, some victims should report it to the government concerned, the government should take action and call attention to the scam, but I can not find any official announcement about wealthy affiliate, meantime, many online money makers are webmasters, if they are victims of wealthy affiliate scam, they may report wealthyaffiliate.com to google, it should be published by google, a site in google penalty dose not indexed by google search, you can not search out the site whatever keyword you search for, and the site gets no page rank. But when I che ck the term “site:wealthyaffiliate.com”, it is fully indexed by google, when I check its page rank http://www.myip.net/wealthyaffiliate.com, it gets pr4, means a good and important site, when I search the term “Internet MarketingTraining Program” in google, Wealthy Affiliate is Ranked the #1 by over 499,000 Independent Websites and Counting.
In sum, Wealthy Affiliate is very likely legit, but since I’m not a real member of it, I can not tell whether it worth while joining. Because I’m very satified with my online income now, I don’t think it’s necessary for me to join such program. If you are going to join such program, you should understand the basic fact firstly: No body and no program can help you do make money directly unless you yourself pay enough time and effort, others can only teach you how to, but whether you can really make some money depends on yourself, joining such program is not for all to save future trouble, it does not mean once you join it, then you sit back waiting for your money. So if you are too lazy or you are not sure you will be a good learner in internet marketing, I suggest you looking for other ways to make money.
